Warpaint The Fool Deluxe Edition 2011 Repack File
To understand the Deluxe Edition, one must first appreciate its source. is the debut studio album by the Los Angeles-based alternative rock band Warpaint. It was originally released on October 25, 2010, via Rough Trade Records. Following a number of lineup changes, including the recruitment of current drummer Stella Mozgawa, the band recorded the album at two studios—Curves Studio and The Boat Studio—in their native Los Angeles throughout 2010. It was produced by Tom Biller (Liars, Karen O), who also shared mixing duties with the legendary Andrew Weatherall (Björk, My Bloody Valentine) and Adam Samuels (John Frusciante, Pearl Jam).
Upon the 2011 repack’s release, critics largely praised the deluxe edition for avoiding “cash-grab” excess. Pitchfork noted that the bonus material “doesn’t disrupt the original album’s spell so much as cast a wider circle around it.” NME called “Jubilee” “the missing key to The Fool ’s labyrinth.” However, some argued that the repack’s existence highlighted the original album’s brevity—ten tracks and just 45 minutes felt incomplete without the extras. warpaint the fool deluxe edition 2011 repack
