Label every terminal block and wire entering the legacy CPU board to simplify mapping.

Before mounting the board, the installation manual highlights several environmental and hardware requirements that must be met:

Lenel LNL-3300-M5 is a specialized Intelligent System Controller (ISC) designed as a "plug-compatible" replacement to migrate legacy CASI M5 and M3000 systems to the modern Lenel OnGuard Lenel Lnl-3300-m5 Installation Manual UPD

While the LNL‑3300‑M5 has been officially discontinued, up‑to‑date documentation and support resources are still available through various channels:

The LNL‑3300‑M5 is the CPU board at the heart of the Lenel M Series controller. It was specifically designed to replace legacy CPU boards—including the M5, M3000, M3000‑E, P, PX, PXN, and PXNplus—as well as the older CASI Power/Comm Board (PN:110064001). The controller is fully plug‑compatible with the legacy M5/M3000 backplane, which allows it to use existing enclosures, power inputs, tamper circuits, and AC power‑fail wiring from the original system.
