If you have a large collection of RAP files, you can place them all in the emulator's virtual directory manually: Navigate to your main RPCS3 folder on your PC. Go to dev_hdd0 > home > 00000001 > exdata .
By ensuring you have the correct license files placed in the exdata folder and installed correctly, you can turn your PS3 into a comprehensive library of classic digital titles, fully functional and ready to play.
Create a folder named packages in the root directory of the USB drive. Move your .pkg files here.
If you have downloaded a game package that requires a RAP file, the installation process is slightly different than installing a simple homebrew app. While older methods required complex sign-in procedures, modern custom firmware has streamlined this significantly.
Open the drive and create a new folder in the root directory named exactly exdata (must be lowercase).
