In an exclusive interview posted to the artist’s Discord server (screenshots of which have since circulated widely), Illuxxxtrandy explained that this update is Phase 2 of a three-phase plan. Phase 1 (2023) launched the core Kemonosu roster. Phase 2 (now) expands the world and adds interactivity.
