Cascade Hills is balanced and versatile. A large river divides the map, with several bridges (and a dam) serving as chokepoints. The northwestern area contains dense plague heart territory, while the south is more open.
Also among the original three, is set in the forested mountains of Oregon and feels the most “apocalyptic” of all the regions. It is one of the smallest maps, but what it lacks in size, it makes up for in density. The map is split by two major rivers, creating distinct eastern, middle, and western sections.
