PurePDFbook does exactly what it promises: it teaches you how to generate PDF files programmatically using ActionScript 3 (Flash/Flex). However, the library and its documentation are frozen in 2010. If you are maintaining a legacy Flash project, this book is a solid 4/5. If you are starting a new project, it's a 1/5 due to obsolescence.
