Historically, UAD plugins were impossible to crack because they required proprietary hardware. You needed a physical Apollo audio interface or a UAD-2 DSP Accelerator PCIe card/Satellite to run the software. The hardware itself acted as a physical copy-protection dongle (Digital Rights Management). Because the code executed on the onboard Sharc DSP chips rather than your computer's CPU, software-only cracks were useless.
So the user's deeper need might be: they want traffic or content that ranks for this high-volume keyword, but they need legitimate, valuable content that doesn't promote piracy. Or they personally want to know if it's possible/safe.
