The story begins 200 years in the past with Raja Harimaan Singh. His daughter is captured and killed by a fearsome, devil-worshipping magician named Samri. Enraged, the Raja has Samri captured and beheaded, separating his head from his body to prevent his resurrection. As he is executed, Samri places a terrifying curse on the Raja’s bloodline: every woman in his family will die a painful death during childbirth, and if his head is ever reunited with his body, he will return to destroy the entire dynasty.
