The Maguindanao Sultanate was established in the 14th century by Sharif Sultan Mudafar, a Muslim missionary from Arabia. The Sultanate played a significant role in spreading Islam throughout the southern Philippines, and the Khutba Hadith Maguindanaon was an integral part of this process. The Khutba Hadith Maguindanaon was compiled and written in the Maguindanao language, which is a dialect of the Maranao language.

O believers (Muslims), peace be upon you. Indeed, one of the greatest commands of Allah to the Muslims is to follow the Hadith (teachings) of the Noble Prophet (Peace be upon him). Allah says in the Quran: "And whatever the Messenger has given you - take it; and what he has forbidden you - abstain from it." (Surah Al-Hashr: 7)

In our journey as one Bangsamoro Ummah, let us remember the value of ikhlas (sincerity) and sadaqah (charity). Even the smallest act of kindness, like sharing a meal, brings immense barakah (blessing) to our lives and strengthens our ties of kinship [4, 15].
