Results reveal three primary findings: (1) “Candid” footage is often perceived as more authentic than professionally produced marine park content, even when interactions occur in controlled swim-with-dolphin programs; (2) High-definition close-ups of dolphin eye contact, vocalizations, and playful behavior trigger strong emotional responses categorized as “amazement” — driving shares and conservation-linked donations; (3) Full-length (uncut) videos generate significantly higher trust ratings compared to edited highlights, though they also expose risky human behaviors (e.g., chasing, touching).
