The album was produced by Eric Caudieux, mixed and mastered by Greg Koller at The Apex Studio in Los Angeles, CA, and engineered by Caudieux at Chateau Faf in Acton, CA.
Recorded during the COVID-19 pandemic, the album was created with musicians working remotely, allowing Satriani to spend unprecedented amounts of time tinkering with arrangements and production techniques. The result is an album that is both experimental and unmistakably, classically Satriani.
Satriani co-produced the album with his longtime engineer John Cuniberti (known for The Extremist and Surfing with the Alien ). The duo employed unconventional recording methods, including using vintage gear and even recording some parts on iPhones to capture raw, spontaneous energy. In FLAC CD, you’ll hear the beautiful contrast between lo-fi textures and hi-fi clarity—an intentional juxtaposition that rewards critical listening.
