While legal streaming platforms dominate current discourse, cyberlockers played a crucial role in the transnational circulation of South African house music between 2010–2020. Using digital forensics, URL archival analysis (Wayback Machine), and Reddit/forum scraping, this study traces how “updated” DFH links sustained the track’s accessibility long after its commercial peak.
